I would venture to say the vast majority of us are devastated to learn of yet another instance where young lives were taken too soon in a tragic set of circumstances. I want to be open to the idea of change, and I think that others have insight and knowledge that will add to discussions that must take place. Each of us have a voice, and we should be encouraged to not only use it in clear and thoughtful ways but to also ask for insight from others. This is how we can move forward, honoring both the speaker and the listener.
